to its family of Gyratory Compactors is the rugged,
totally portable AFGB1A Brovold Gyratory Compactor.
This unique and innovative machine is now manufactured
exclusively by Pine.

Pine Instrument Company
designed its first gyratory compactor, the AFGC125X
to comply with the Superpave asphalt mix design
requirements of the United States Federal Highway
Administration. The 125X has become the standard by
which all other compactors in the industry are
judged.

Pine took a different
approach in the design and construction of the AFG1A.
Pine developed
a more compact, portable machine that allows the
operator to take the tester to the material for field
QC/QA. It is also suitable for laboratory design work.
